Akmal returns with a brand-new show title, 'Red Flags'. It is one of the best titles he's come up with in years. It is the result of hundreds of hours of hard work and dedication.

Red Flags - we all know what they are - the warning signs we wish we saw before falling down the rabbit hole of stupidity. Like when the King of Uganda rings you and asks for your bank details. Like when someone wears crocs to work. Like when a comedian spends thousands of hours on their show title and all they can come up with is 'Red Flags'.

This show is not a scam - Akmal will appear. He is OK if you want to give him your bank details and he'll pass them on to the King of Uganda for you.

It's been a crazy journey for Akmal to reach this point. In his early days, he went by the alias Peter Saleh ('So people would think I was white' he says). Since then, he has reverted to his real name (or has he?), embraced and drawn on his Arabic heritage, his experiences immigrating to Australia at the age of eleven, his disillusionment with religion and the modern world.

He has toured the globe many times over, including to the Edinburgh and Montreal International Comedy Festivals, as well as starred in films and TV, such as being the most reluctant guest on 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here' (he really did want to get out of there). He has authored a book about his upbringing in Egypt and experiences moving to Australia, won an ARIA award, and made countless people clutch their sided with laughter.

For fans old and new, Red Flags is sure to deliver a fantastic experience jam-packed with comedy gold.
