DIESEL’s ‘BY REQUEST’ tour returns to Newcastle, offering a one-of-a-kind conversation between artist and audience. Opening the door for fans to shape the night, the show delivers career-spanning, hit-filled evenings powered entirely by audience requests.

With song choices on offer ranging from the debut album - 1989’s Johnny Diesel & The Injectors, through to his most recent LP - Bootleg Melancholy. We stop off to sample some of his collaborations from his 400 strong song catalogue, and feature some eclectic covers from the artists that have shaped DIESEL’s expansive career.

An intimate, electric and completely audience-driven experience, the BY REQUEST tour is a bespoke affair, with a guarantee that no two shows will be the same across the run.

HOW IT WORKS

Once you’ve purchased your tickets to the show, visit dieselmusic.com.au to submit your request.
To get your requests onto the official shortlist, you must submit your choices by 5:00 PM on the Wednesday prior to your show (2 Sept).

VIP SOUNDCHECK EXPERIENCE

• Go behind the scenes at soundcheck as DIESEL puts the final touches to his stage before the show.
• You will have an opportunity to grab a photo with the artist before you take your seat in the first two rows to experience the entire performance.
• Patrons are required to BYO camera or smart phone to take a photo with Diesel.
• VIP Times: If you are a VIP ticketholder, kindly take note of your earlier arrival time below. Please be punctual and have your photo ID and show ticket at the ready for check-in on arrival.
• This experience is limited to 20 people.

VIP check in: 6pm
VIP experience: 6:10pm-6:40pm strict.
