Macbeth is surrounded by loved ones yet consumed by unnatural ambition. In his attempts to satiate the darkness lurking within him, he is seduced by prophecy and driven to murder.
This adaptation serves as a battleground for the divine and the wicked, tracing Macbeth's descent into madness and illustrating the horrific betrayals, wicked ambition and gruesome violence that plague our world to this very day.
This production is aimed at an adolescent and young adult audience. It presents Shakespeare's still timeless exploration of moral decay, betrayal, and the consequences of unchecked ambition.

All’s One believes there should always be a space for classic stories to be told in a modern way; pulling from the stories told by our ancestors to help us navigate this wild and strange world we live in. All's One aims to foster a love and fellowship with the playwrights of old, not only Shakespeare — who gave us our name — but Ibsen, Chekhov, Strindberg, all the way back to Euripides and Sophocles.

Pippa started her theatrical life as a frog; something no one would expect in the natural world, but then when has she ever been natural? She fully chose the creative life when she was given the opportunity of playing Michael Banks in the Sydney cast of Disney’s Mary Poppins (2011). She has worked extensively as a playwright, debuting with I Hope It’s Not Raining In London (Bearfoot Theatre) then going on to write the 2021 City of Newcastle Drama Association (CONDA) Award-winning Play; Here, There and Everywhere. She also has a passionate career in adaptation, adapting classic scripts such as Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, Ghosts and Chekhov’s The Seagull. Her Directorial credits include The Crucible (Lindsay Street Players), A Doll’s House (Maitland Repertory Theatre), Ghosts (All’s One Theatre), All My Sons (Maitland Repertory Theatre) and Blackbird (Her Productions).

Aimee Cavanagh spent 14 years in arts administration for leading international arts companies like Bazmark Inq., Global Creatures, and Perth International Arts Festival. She began her acting career in Sydney in her 20s, taking on roles such as Angela in David Williamson's Dead White Males and Estelle in Jean-Paul Satre's No Exit. In 2016, she debuted in the Hunter region as Ruth Condamine in the Maitland Repertory Theatre production of Blithe Spirit. Over the years, Aimee has portrayed a variety of characters, from Elsie Bruno in Strangers on a Train to Beatrice Hunsdorfer in The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds and Helene Hanff in 84 Charing Cross Road. Her recent role as Kate Keller in Arthur Miller's All My Sons earned her a CONDA Award nomination, and she is currently working on the Newcastle Theatre Company production of The Effect. Aimee's other theatre credits include directing It's A Wonderful Life and a 2023 production of Calendar Girl.
