A new outdoor dining experience
Civic Theatre is excited to announce a brand-new Alfresco Dining experience now available for pre-bookings (with a set menu) or walk-ins (with an a-la carte menu, subject to availability).
When adding Alfresco Dining to your performance ticket, you will enjoy a specially curated menu designed for the Theatre experience, timed perfectly around your show. Select from a set menu designed to be shared.
Whether you are here for a show or a date night, come down and enjoy Alfresco Dining with us in a beautiful ambient setting under a marquee, in the heart of the city.
The Alfresco Dining Set Menu is designed to be shared among the table. Guests select two items from the Main Meals menu and three items from the Sides menu, with proportions catering for the number of guests booked at each table.
Bookings available on performances between April - June 2022 only.

Baked Huon salmon fillet served with lemon, dill & tomato cream sauce (gluten free)
Pumpkin, goat's cheese & asparagus filo with tomato concasse (vegetarian)
Black bean & lentil patties with smashed avocadoes & a corn, tomato and habanero relish (vegan, gluten free)
Sage & onion stuffed roasted free-range chicken cut & served with traditional homestyle gravy (gluten free, dairy free)
Rosemary, honey & seeded mustard slow cooked Cowra lamb shoulder with a Scarborough shiraz jus (gluten free, dairy free)

Roasted root vegetables (vegan, gluten free, dairy free)
Fasulye beans fried with paprika & garlic in Tuscan olive oil (vegan, gluten free, dairy free)
Traditional Greek salad with a herb & balsamic dressing (gluten free)
Texas style coleslaw with honey mustard vinaigrette (gluten free, vegetarian)
Moroccan roasted pumpkin, cauliflower & chickpea salad with a drizzle of hummus (vegan, gluten free, dairy free)
How to pre-book
To make a performance and Alfresco Dining reservation:
1. Using the What's On function, select the event page for your chosen performance and select BUY TICKETS
2. Add your chosen performance date, seat allocation and Ticket Type to the shopping cart
3. Add your chosen 'Alfresco Dining' reservation time and enter the number of people attending
4. Verify your selections in your basket and finalise your transaction following the prompts
5. You will receive an automated Booking Confirmation email with the tickets for your chosen performance and dinner reservation attached
6. In the days prior to your reservation, you will receive an email to finalise your menu selection. The menu selection form must be submitted within 3 days of receiving the email, to ensure your preferences are secured.
To add an Alfresco Dining reservation to your existing performance booking:
1. Using the What's On function, select event page for the show you have purchased tickets
2. Scroll down to the Alfresco Dining banner and select one of the available times for the date that matches your performance tickets
3. Enter the number of people attending
4. Verify your selections in your basket and finalise your transaction following the prompts
5. You will receive an automated Booking Confirmation email with the tickets for your dinner reservation attached
6. In the days prior to your reservation, you will receive an email to finalise your menu selection. The menu selection form must be submitted within 3 days of receiving the email, to ensure your preferences are secured.
