Hiring Details

There are three steps to the hiring process for performance based events

  1. Secure a Pencil Booking for the dates you seek. This is done by calling our Venue Hire & Event Co-ordinators on (02) 4974 2166, or emailing newcastlevenues@ncc.nsw.gov.au. This pencil booking can be made as far in advance as you like. If another Client wishes to challenge and contract your pencilled dates, we will need confirmation that you would like to proceed wth the booking in writing within 24 hours.
  2. Confirmation of the pencilled dates. At this point, you will be sent a kit which contains the venue hiring license, an invoice for deposit payment together with ticketing and technical questionnaire for your completion and return.
  3. A Confirmed Booking is when we receive your signed copy of the Venue Hiring Licence and Security Deposit. You must also return the relevant documentation in relation to your production and ticket sales requirements by the specified dates in order for your show to be on sale.
